Caricature and Pop Cultural Parody

I cut my teeth as a cartoonist working summers as a live caricaturist at Toronto's Ontario Place. A longtime a fan of Al Hirschfeld and Mort Drucker, I jump at any opportunity to bring caricature into my illustration projects. I also love pop cultural parody, no doubt borne of films like Airplane, Naked Gun, and Kentucky Fried Movie, and publications like MAD. It's no wonder that my comic Bogart Creek features a lot of riffs on beloved cultural icons.
